Since the WDSA formed in 2007 we have reached several of our goals.  Firstly, we want to increase the number of women playing professional doubles by encouraging former college players, current teaching professionals and WISPA touring professionals to play this fabulous game which has grown from 27 players to 41 and the tour has grown from 3 events to 7 this past 2008/2009 season.  In addition to the growth of professional women playing doubles squash, the WDSA helped foster and build women’s doubles on the amateur level which has been achieved through pro am tournaments at local clubs by encouraging all levels of players to participate.  Also the WDSA, corporate partners, patrons, and membership are established relationships with local charities - City Squash, Metro Squash and Squash Haven.
